Hands which can hold someone,

Hands which can shake someone,

Hands which can wash one’s feet,

Hands which can serve loved ones or strangers.

Describe what kind of hands you have-

Hands which dare to slap one’s face,

Hands which dare to punch one’s nose,

Hands which dare to collect silver with the corrupt,

Hands which dare to stab a brother’s back.

Describe what kind of hands you have-

The hands of midwives who bring forth life,

The hands of Jesus whose been pierced on the cross,

The hands of forgiveness and loving embrace.

The hands that hold you tight saying, “I love you...”
